<reviewbody>I found this website a couple of months ago & this is one of my favorites, wonderful. I really love the carter family, found them fairly recently after watching a BBC program. I also found a free carter family track, "diamonds in the rough" on http://www.efolkmusic.com which might interest others also.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>When people think of masterpieces they may think of European style classical music but this is the most beautiful song I've ever heard, not necessarily for the words but the music and tone is beautiful.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I grew up listening to my dad playing Wildwood Flower on his guitar (badly). I loved the song. It was some years before I realized that it had words. The words didn't matter much to me because the melody was so beautiful.

After I grew up, I re-discovered the Carter Family and fell in love with this song all over again. Maybelle's guitar with the "Carter Scratch" is truly inspired. The singing is perfect in it's simplicity and the melody is still sublime. It's truly an American treasure.</reviewbody>
